Dim Prasad Poudel, Chairman and Co-Founder of TrekBuddy Nepal holds more than 25 years of experience in the management of varieties of organizations including some of the biggest corporate houses in Nepal. He is a keen traveller and trekker, having travelled to more than 35 countries around the word. He has trekked most of the trekking destinations in Nepal including Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, Mustang and Rara Lake and have developed good understanding of these regions.
His love with the Himalayas developed from the very early age growing on lap of the Annapurna regions about 20 km from Pokhara.
During his time in the Public Sector, he had opportunity to visit many parts of Himalayan Region and experience rich natural beauty and culture it has to offer. However, he also came across many hardships that the local people experienced due to lack of basis facilities and infrastructures. This acted as an impetus for him to work towards betterment of these regions. He founded TrekBuddy Nepal in 2003 with one mission- To promote the natural beauty and culture of the Himalayan Regions with responsible tourism and contribute towards its development via participation of local people.

Mr. Dinesh Paudel, Chief Executive Officer of TrekBuddy Nepal, holds more than 15 years of experience in the management of different organizations from various sectors including Tourism and Travel, Hospitality and Medical.
He was born and raised on the Southern part of Nepal about 5 kms from famous Chitwan National Park. He grew up in the farm and developed keen interest in hiking and exploring from very early age. Dinesh has trekked extensively around Langtang Valley and Annapurna Regions, with one of his favourite treks being Mardi Hamal Trek.
He joined TrekBuddy Nepal in 2019 with aim to promote and contribute responsible tourism with grassroots initiatives.
Dinesh spends his free time volunteering in different parts of Nepal and promoting social justice.

Born and grew up in remote area of Dhading district, went to nearby school. He started to work as a trekking porter in 2008, continued for 2 years. Then trained as a professional trekking guide. He has been to EBC, Everest 3 passes, EBC via Jiri, Annapurna circuit, ABC, Langtang, Manaslu/Tsum valley, Likes make fun and jokes in the trek,he has very good humour. He is so professional and dedicated towards his work. He speaks fluent English and Hindi.
Mr. Pokhrel was born and grew up in Dhading district. Started his career in tourism when he was 18 yrs old. In the beginning, he worked as a porter, had explored many places, worked in this position for 4 years then trained and became a licensed guide. He has been to most of the trekking areas and villages in Nepal including Everest Basecamp, 3 passes, Gokyo, Jiri to Everest, Langtang, Gosaikunda, Manaslu, Annapurna region, Kanchenjunga, Rara, Simikot, Upper Dolpa, Dhaulagiri, Upper Mustang, Narphu, etc. He loves to be on the mountain and chatting with people. He likes to spend his entire life in tourism and guiding until his health supports him. He is fluent in English, French, and Hindi both to write and speak. He has worked with the people from all over the world.
Mr. Bishwakarma is one of the most experienced and mature trekking guides in Nepal. He was born and grown up in a remote village of Tehrathum district nearby Kanchenjunga mountain. Before entering into tourism he worked in a health post in his village for 3 years and also taught in a primary school nearby his town. He then started to work as trekking porter, worked in this position for 4 years. During this period he learned how to treat guests, fix the tents, serves the guests etc. After that, he trained as a trekking guide and has been working actively to date. He has successfully leaded group from all over the world to all the major trekking routes in Nepal including whole Annapurna region, Kanchenjunga, Langtang/osaikunda, Makalu, Helambu, Upper Mustang, Upper/lower Dolpa, Kalinchok, Tashi Lapcha, Whole Everest region including Base Camp, Gokyo, 3 passes, via Jiri, Ganesh Himal, Malaslu/Tsum valley, Mardi Himal, Thoranglas pass, Nar Phu etc. He speaks, writes and reads English and Hindi fluently. He is very knowledgeable about how to make guests happy and satisfied. He likes to work in tourism until his health will support him.
Mr. Adhikari was born and grown up in a remote village of Gorkha district where he gained his school level education. He started to work in tourism as a trekking porter when he was 16 years. He worked as a porter for 5 years then became a trekking guide. He has explored almost all the major trekking areas of Nepal including whole Annapurna region, whole Everest region including EBC, Gokyo, 3 passes, via Jiri, Langtang, Helambu, Gosaikunda, Shivapuri, Mustang, Manaslu/Tsum valley, etc. He loves nature and people, specially to learn of the culture and history of the different countries of the world. His humour and knowledge makes people to feel so nice. His skill of speaking, writing and reading English and Hindi is so nice. He likes to spend the whole life in tourism.
Mr.Mingma Sherpa is one of the most experienced, well-trained and phenomenal trekking/climbing guide who has a vast knowledge of the Bio and Cultural diversity of the Nepal Mountains. He is a social person known for his versatile organizing, leadership, problem solving and excellent communication skills.
He was born 42 years ago in Makalu, a lap of Nature. Makalu itself is a place of great natural beauty and cultural diversity. From his childhood, he was passionate and enthusiastic about traveling and exploring mountains and nature. Later on, he was able to change his passion for a profession.
Since then he has contributed a lot to the climbing field and guided thousands of tourists from different parts of the world. Until now he has successfully climbed Summit Mount Everest the highest mountain in the world 6 times, K2 Second-highest in the world twice, Cho yo Sixth-highest mountain in the world, Mt. Manaslu Eighth-highest mountain in the world for 4 times, Ama Dablam twice, Himlung Twice and conquered many other peaks such as Island peak, Mera peak, Lobuche Peak etc. Hence, After collecting years of experience and hardship he is renowned as a proficient, sincere and successful climbing/expedition guide. To have him as a guide is a blessing for any client.
Mr. Dendi Shrepa is one of the most experienced trekking/ mountain climbing guide with more than 20 years of experience in Nepal. He was born Born and raised up in Solukhumbu District, on the lap of the mighty Mount Everest. Dendi started his career as a porter in high Himalayas from an early age of 14, as a way to support his Family. Quickly he fell in Love with his work and continued trekking/ mountain climbing as his profession as he loved helping people trekking and submitting high mountains. TrekBuddy Nepal is proud to support local hero like Dendi Sherpa.
He has extensively trekked in almost all the treeking routes including the Everest region, Annapurna region and Manaslu region. He is one of the busiest guide in the industry as almost all trekkers guided by him are very happy and love him to be their guide.
Mr. Nawang Gyachho Tamang is one of the young, energetic and experienced guide mainly for Langtang Region.
Born and grew up in Rasuwa District (Langtang Region), Mr. Tamang started his career as a porter in Langtang region from an early age of 15. He started working with his uncle who was also a trekking guide for Langtang region, so he comes from the family long associated trekking and mountaineering.
He have done many treks in the Annapurna, Langtang and many more. He loves guiding people to high altitude regions and helping them in need.
